学生で5年いて、今カレッジに行っているのですが、同じ状況でもう一度５年の学生VISAを申請して最近取れた方、
こうした方が取れやすいなどの具体的な情報がありましたら、教えてください。

とある友人は、Departmentでも成績トップ、後１セメで卒業というところで用事があったので日本に帰り、F1更新して戻ってくる予定でしたが、却下されてしまいました。その後ノンビザで一旦戻ってきて、教授らのレターなど、かき集めて再申請したようですが、再びApproveされることはなかったようです。
却下の理由はおそらく、カレッジに既に数年在籍しているのに、再び同じカレッジでF1申請をしようとしたからではないか、というのが大方の周りの意見でした。同じ更新でも、一つ上のレベル、現在カレッジなら次はユニバーシティーからI−20をもらってするのであれば、問題はなかったと思われます。
その友人は、教授や他の生徒から非常に惜しまれながら、泣く泣く日本にとどまることになりました。「もう少し慎重に、真剣に考えてのぞむべきであった」と本人が悔やんでました。
