One Japanese-affiliated market has a simple kitchen, but most of the bento and prepared foods are purchased from a vendor who makes them ready to eat.

At least TC is certain that they are purchasing ready-made lunch box prepared foods from outside sources.
The in-house kitchen does what little it can, and mostly relies on outside sources.
(but a lot will change soon, can't go into details. )
