Vivinavi Los Angelesおススメの日本の観光地は何処ですか?

数年ぶりの日本行きでアメリカ人の友人と５月中旬から各地を観光する予定です。
いつもは実家のある東京近辺（遠くても箱根や熱海ていど）しか行かないのですが
今回は数か所を２週間かけて満喫したいと思っています。
友人は初めての日本でもあり、また暖かい場所に行きたいとの事で
今２人で的を絞ってますが分からない事が多く、少し質問させて下さい。
まずレイルパスですが、新幹線を使って東京から福岡まで行く予定です。
このパスをロサンゼルスで購入して日本で使用された方の感想は如何でしたか?
日本人はこのパスは買えないと言う情報も頂いたのですが
実際にお使いになった方の意見があれば聞いてみたいです。
飛行機の到着場所は成田でも羽田でも構わないのですが
羽田には行った事が無いので興味深々です。
羽田をご利用になられた方の感想は如何ですか?
今回行きたい所は東京、横浜、富士山の近く、京都、大阪、福岡、沖縄などです。
この他の地域でもおススメな場所があれば教えて下さい。
上記の各地で、一押しなホテルやレストラン、観光地、郷土料理、温泉、おみやげ他など
是非行った方が良い所の情報があれば嬉しいです。
特に福岡と沖縄は生まれて初めて行く場所なので
まったく知識が無く少し不安です。
今まで旅行などで行った時の感想など
ご存知の事だけで結構ですので
少しづつ情報が増えたら幸いです。

実は私もそう思っていたら２００４年から、
米国に１０年以上続けて住んでいる人は対象外になったと
先程旅行社のウェブページで見つけたばかりです。
残念です。
