統計史上、過去最低の支持率になった共和党、今彼らがやっていることをみれば、不支持率の高さはごく当然なのですが、本当にいい加減にして欲しい。。
政府機関の閉鎖、デフォルト危機、議員たちは自身の保身のためなら、国民の不利益も全く関係ないというスタンフも、実に彼ららしいというか、相変わらずだが、それでも一部の共和党支持者は、これでも何の思慮もなく、オバマバッシングを元気にしているのをみると、むしろ哀れにすら思える。きっと自分たちが支持しているものの実態が何か、まるで見えていないのでしょう。
ちなみに政府機関の閉鎖によって、食品の安全性を検査する機関が閉鎖されているらしく、今、特に生野菜や魚介系は要注意らしいので、皆さん気をつけましょう。
でも確かに政治って、理解するのは難しいです。ちょっと前のシリア問題なんて、世論的にも不評だった戦争に対して、何のためにオバマはあのスタンスをとっていたのか、正直、あの時点では全く理解できなかった。ただ今なら、意図は結果論から何となく分かるけどね。
