By couch I assume you mean a couch. As far as I know, every terminal at Haneda Airport has banned "airport sleeping" on sofas for 24 hours because of aesthetic and safety concerns. Sorry if I am wrong. So I heard they also eliminated single-seat chairs without elbow arms. In other words, you can no longer lie down and sleep in a chair in the airport.


I stayed at the First Cabin mentioned above for two nights this spring in order to get rid of jet lag, but I had nothing to do in the airport. I sat on a chair by the 7/11, ate some food I bought, watched people passing by, and watched U/T on my phone. There was also an old man sleeping soundly in a single chair nearby, probably killing time as well.


Well, my body was not tired at all even though I was hanging around in the airport, so I took the Keikyu train to Tenkubashi station two stops away and walked across the Tama River to the Kawasaki City side and walked west along the river bank to Kawasaki Daishi, the most visited temple in Japan for the first visit of the year. Next, I took the Keikyu Daishi Line from Kawasaki Daishi Station to the Keikyu Main Line and headed for central Tokyo.

Yes, I was right, I was a blue hill of the group that leaves their belongings in the lockers at T3.

There are no 24-hour cafes in T1 and T2, so I think I will kill time in T3 when I arrive.
