アメリカで買ったコンピューターを使っているのですが、日本のと違って、ワードもエクセルも入ってませんよね。しばらくはお試し期間っぽいワードを使っていたのですが、期限が切れて使えなくなりました。
友達はみんな日本で買ってきたコンピューター使ってるし、ベストバイで買うとどちらも200ドルはかかるし。
こんな経験のある人、どうしたかおしえてください。

もしあなたが学生さんだったら学校のブックストアで買うと安いですよ。Office２００３のフルバージョン１０ドル以下で買えました。色々な条件（インストールはPC１台のみとか）ありますけど。

OpenOfficeというフリーソフトもあります。MSOFFICE互換。
フリーといってもかなりタフで、OFFICEになれてる人間なら自由に使えるはず。
WORD、EXCELのファイルも読めるし、保存も利きます。機能的に飽和状態にあるOFFICEソフトは、どれを使ってもあなたの期待にこたえてくれるでしょう。
WINDOWSの基本操作を踏襲してるし。
ひところより安定感がましたMS OFFICEですが、動作が重いのはいらいらすることしばしば。たかがワープロでなんであんなに重いんだか・・・
Microsoft社のバグや無駄なアップデートを気にしなくていいのが強みです。

OpenOffice というのが有りますが、使ったことある人いるのかな？ みんな友達のをコピーしちゃうのかな？
