taxのかからないネバダ州で車を購入

ネバダ州はセールスタックスはかからなかったですね。
間違っていたらごめんなさい。

ラスベガスに行って新車を購入してロサンゼルスに戻ってくる、という方法は馬鹿げていますか。
登録手続きなどはディーラーがやってくれるので
プレートライセンスが届いたらロサンゼルスのDMVで書き換えをして
カリフォルニアプレートを貰うようにすれば良いと考えました。
新車だからメーカーのメンテナンスサービスも丈夫と思います。

例えば１万ドルの新車を購入すると場所にもよりますが9.75％のタックスを支払わなければなりませんが、小売税がかからない州で買い物すればセーブできそうです。

皆さんどう思われますか。
何かおかしなところがあれば書き込んで教えてください。

ネバダはちゃんとタックスありますよ。
無いのはオレゴン州。

たしか他州で新車を購入した場合、7500マイル以上の走行か1年経たないとCAで登録できなかったと思ったけど。
詳しくはDMVで聞いてみては?

ひょっとして
ネ州と加州、両方の登録料が発生するとか...。

ちなみにネ州の登録は自分でDMVに出向いてします。
ナンバープレートはその時手渡しされます。
ディーラーに頼むと$40～50取られます。

ネバダのラスベガスではセールスタックスは幾らかかるのですか。

過去に行った時コンビニでコーラを買った時
セールスタックスを取られ無かった記憶がありますが。

確かレジストレーションするときにセールスタックス取られると思いますよ。レジストレーションはカリフォルニアの住所ですからね。

確か7.75％がセールスタックスです。
ネットで調べたらすぐに出ますよ。

ネバダのクラークカウンティーのセールスタックスは８．１％です。リーテールの店でソーダを買ってもタックスはつかないよ。

シンプルに、、、。

こういったことを考える人がもちろんでてくるのは政府も把握ずみです。

”自分の現在住んでいる場所”のタックスを支払うので、いくらセールスタックスが0％の地で車を購入したとしても、カリフォルニアにお住まいでしたら、カリフォルニアセールスタックスを払う義務があります。＃5さんと同様です。

主人が同じことを少し前に考えましたが、調べてみたらカリフォルニアでDMVに登録する際にカリフォルニアのセールスタックスを取られるのだとか．．．．DMVのウェブサイトで調べてみて下さい。
結局主人はカリフォルニアで買いました。

オレゴンなりネバダなり、どこで購入しても登録の住所がカリフォルニアだとカリフォルニアのセールスタックスがかかります。どうしてもセールスタックスの無い州で車を買って、タックス分をうかせたいなら、その州の住所で登録すればいいんです。（実家のあるアメリカ人とかはそうしてますよね。）
