アメリカで特許を取るにあたって。
何からどうして良いのかわかりません。
今までに取られた事のある方、もしくは詳しい方、どんなささいな情報でも注意点でもかまいません。
教えて頂ければ幸いです。

日本のマーケットとかに時々おいてある南カリ
フォルニア大辞典という分厚い電話帳を探してくると便利ですよ。
そこに免許の取り方とかノウハウがこと細かく書いてあります。
まずは筆記試験を受けるためにその南カリフォルニア辞典に載ってる問題集を丸覚えしましょうw。

簡単、アメリカ特許庁に書類を提出するだけです。受領書が送られてきて後は審査待ち。もし日本で特許がおりているのであれば、先取り特許権を認めてくれますよ。
今はインターネットでも申請できると思います。

確かに書類申請はインターネットでできます。
特許庁のアドレスはwww.uspto.govで、EFSが申請のアプリケーションです。
ただし、日本で特許がおりていてもいなくても、過去に類似の案件が申請、あるいは使用などされていないか調べる必要があります。海外で特許を取得している場合もこれにあたり、情報開示していない場合は特許の取り消しもありえます。もし特許申請をしようとしている案件がすでに一般向けに発売済みなら、発売日から
1年以内に申請する必要があります。
申請料は一般特許で＄770（2004年1月の時点）ですが、申請後も色々お金が掛かります。
私はプロではありませんが、特許の勉強はしているので、質問などあればメールください。分かる限りで答えます。
