ガーデナの築地というお寿司屋さん、うに丼や海鮮丼などのランチが有名でしたが、オーナーが韓国人に変わったって本当ですか？味や値段やボリュームも、以前のままにランチもしてるのでしょうか？情報をお持ちの方、是非教えてください。お願いします。

今月、子供が生まれます。両親ともに日本人です。親は言葉や仕事の問題があるので、永住するかどうか分かりませんが、子供はとりあえず二つ国籍を持つわけですし、将来は好きな方で頑張ってほしいと思います。
当面の実際問題として、しばらくはアメリカにいるわけですけど、やがて日本に帰国する可能性が高く、日本で学校に通うことになるかもしれない。しかし、将来的もどってくる可能性はかなりあり。
そんな状況で、子供の名前ですが、これがまた悩ましいのです。まず、ファーストネームは、ふつうの日本的な名前にすることは決めました。これは単純に親に好みと、日本で生活することを考えてのことです。あと、日米両用の名前はあまり好きなのがなかった（例、男ならKentーけんと、とか）のも理由の一つです。
さて、ここからが本題ですが、
１．単純に日本的名字・名前だけでいいのでしょうか？アメリカでは、名前に近いニックネームで通していくのでしょうか？（例、つとむ、で、Tomとか）
２．それとも、ミドルネームを英語名で付けて、アメリカではそれを使う？その場合、日本の出生届けやパスポートではそのミドルネームはどうなるのでしょう？（山田マイケル太郎とかミドル・ファーストがくっついた名前で登録されちゃうって本当ですか？）
３．１．の発展型ですが日米で全く違う名前を登録しちゃうのありですか？日本で山田太郎、アメリカでMichael Yamada。こりゃ、だめだろうな。
４．２．の変形で、米国ではミドルネームを含めて登録するが、日本では姓名のみ。これはいけそうか？山田太郎と、Taro Michael Yamadaと。しかし、まてよ、家族と友達に呼ばれる名前が一致しなくなるなあ。
悩ましい。１．が無難なのかなあ？みなさん、アドバイスありましたら宜しくお願いします。

日本の名前とアメリカの名前は別にできるみたいです。アメリカのパスポートをもらうときに日本のパスポートにある人物と同一人物であるという宣誓をするとか聞きました。

名前。出生届けに使える漢字が相当増えます。今まで使えなかった漢字も使えるようになります。
ただね、読み方はどんな読み方でもいいみたいです。
例：太郎と書いてジョージと読むなどは可能みたいです。

ミドルネームつけないと、将来、例えば文書なんかにサインするときに、いかにも外国人っぽくなりませんか？仕事でも、当然周りのアメリカ人はみなミドルネームを持っていますが、自分だけありません。自分は外国人ということを自覚しているわけですが、子供の将来如何では、アメリカ人という意識をもってこちらで生きていくかもしれない。そうすると、やっぱりあったほうがいいですよね？少なくとも、アメリカ側のbirth certificateやpassport上は。

Latinoの友達が真顔で、子供のミドルネームは"Xavier"にしろって言うんだけど、からかわれてるのかな？イグザビアーって読むんだけど、Javier（はビアーのヨーロッッパバージョンらしい。しかし、調べたらArabicなんだけど。。。確かに自分の顔は日本人らしくないから子供もそうなりそうだけど。やめといたほうがいいかな？Coolななまえ何か知ってますか？

ミドルネームはクリスチャンネームともいうからよっぽどあらかじめ二つの（外国と英語）名前があったり、クリスチャンだったりじゃなかったらいらないですよ。ミドルがないというだけで損をしたことは絶対無いです。
それとよく聞くのが、父と母が同じファストネームに同意できなかったから仕方なくファスト、ミドルと決めてミドルネームで通してる人。これだけはやめておいたほうがいいですね。

日本から留学をする親戚のために、語学学校とホストファミリーを探しています。ＣＳＵ付属の語学学校に入れようと思っているのですが、ホストファミリーは学校が紹介してくれるのではなく、HomestayServicesInternationalという機関を紹介されました。どのぐらいしっかりした機関なのか分からずちょっと不安です。どなかたここについての情報を持っている方、いらっしゃったら教えてください。また、他にもホストファミリー斡旋の機関についてご存知の方、教えてください。
