子供が来年からCAのコミカレに進学予定です。子供はアメリカ生まれなので二重国籍です。CAでドライバーズライセンスを取得したいのですがまずはホームステイORシェアハウスに滞在になるので住んでいることを証明する公共料金のbillを提出できなさそうですが、同じような状況でドライバーズライセンスを取得された方いましたら、どうしたらいいか教えていただけますか？

Uberあるしね。USCとか学校の近くだと学校が払ってくれる制度もあるらしいし。メンテ費用とかガス代考えたら自分で所有しないほうがいいから免許取ってない26歳の人いました。上手にUber利用で生活してました。

今の世の中はネットの時代だから、親世代と違ってネットを活用して情報を取得するのは現代っ子の方が断然上手いんで、細かい事まで親が心配することはない。
親はカネだけ出して、その他のことは子供にやらせるで良いんじゃないの

今のミレニアム世代は大学卒業後も給料に比べて生活物価の高騰により金がなく、
親との同居を余儀無くされているのが現実。
若い世代は学生ローンの返済と物価の高騰により車を持つ余裕などなし。

大学生の普段の生活なら、基本自転車でも大丈夫かもしれません。ここは長雨や冬の寒さで困るようなことはないので…。
他の方が言ってみえるように、必要な時にはUBERやレンタカーを使います（きっとそういう時ってお友達と一緒の事が多いので人数割りすればそれなりに安く済むかも）。車って保険以外にも維持費等結構かかります。
話題がずれていますね、ゴメンなさい。
車を持つかではなく、免許取得の為のDMVへの書類についてでしたね。
カレッジからや銀行からの何かで大丈夫か、他に何が必要か、直接聞いてみるのが一番ですかね。練習のためにもお子さんがご自分でやってみるのがベストかと…。
ついつい色々気になるの、とってもよく分かります。私も同じです。子ども達に“過保護”って怒られます。“心配性”って言ってよ、なんて言い返したりしますが…。お子さんが、身になる良い時間が過ごせますように。
