はじめまして。どうぞよろしくお願いします。
ESLに通う学生です。
インフルエンザにかかってしまい、学校を病欠しました。
出席日数が心配で、学校に連絡したら
「ドクターズノートを持ってくれば問題ない。」
と言われました。
質問1
ドクターズノートとは診断書という解釈で間違いないでしょうか?
（辞書だとa medical certificateだったので…）
質問2
病院に申請して何日くらいで発行されて、
いくらくらいの手数料がかかるのでしょうか?
ご回答をどうぞよろしくお願いします。

うちの息子が高校のとき、風邪で学校を何日も欠席したとき、
それを提出するように言われました。
Ｄｒに、そう説明すると、診断証明書みたいな、署名入りの紙を
くれました。料金は発生しませんでした。
なので問題ないですよ。
欠席の理由が、うそや仮病でない証明をもってこい！という意味だと思います。

通常は処方箋にちょこちょこっと書いてくれます。
料金は発生しません。

受付で学校に持っていくのでドクターズノートをくれと言えばすぐに書いてくれます。（えっと言うほど簡単なものです）
もちろんタダですが、ESLに通う学生でも必要なんですね。
