日本では女性が離婚後６ヶ月間結婚する事ができません。（前夫の子を妊娠しているかもしれないという理由で）で、男性は離婚後すぐに結婚できます。
そこでCalifornia州の法律ではやはりこの期間はあるのでしょうか？
また男性はやはり離婚後直ぐに結婚できるのでしょうか？

離婚の申し立てをして、何事もなくすんなり裁判所で処理されるまで６ヶ月掛かると聞いています。勿論、その間は男も女も再婚出来ません。
離婚がちゃんと成立すれば再婚出来ると思います。

アメリカは日本と違い、男女とも６ヶ月なんですね！

カリフォルニアでは 男性も女性も離婚が成立してから ６ヵ月たたないと再婚できません。 理由は 結婚は 人生の大きな決断なので 冷静に考える時間を 持たせる為だそうです。
日本の 前夫の子云々は全くばかげていると思うのですが... 女は次の人に 心を移してしまったら 昔の男と寝たりしないものです。 あるいは 両方と 寝て どっちの子供か 分からないケースが考えられるのみだと思うけど。
いずれにしても 結婚はできなくても H が出来ない 訳ではないのだから。

離婚の申し立てをして処理されるまでの６ヶ月できないのか（まだ既婚ということ？）、成立して（離婚できてる？）６ヶ月間できないのかいまいちわかりません。
日本は役所に出せばその場で離婚できちゃうのですよね。

裁判所にて書類がファイルされてから６ヶ月経たないと離婚証明書が発行されないので法的に離婚が成立したと言えるのはやはり６ヶ月後だと思います。
再婚の際にその離婚証明書が必要なのでその証明書が発行されるまでの６ヶ月間は再婚できません。

そうなんですか。やっと意味がわかりました。でもこの半年という期間に冷静になってまたやり直す人もいるんでしょうね。
