Vivinavi Los Angelesパソコンが起動しません。

パソコンが起動できなくなってしまいました。
ToshibaのDynabook,WindowsXPです。
”次のファイルが存在しないかまたは壊れているため、Windowsを起動できませんでした。
￥WINDOWS￥SYSTEM32￥CONFIG￥SYSTEM
オリジナルセットアップCD−ROMからWindowsセットアップを起動してこのファイルを修復できます。修復するには最初の画面で'R'キーを押してください。”
と、画面に表示されます。
セットアップCD−ROMがあれば苦労しないんですけど、それが、こっちでなくしたのか、日本においてきたのか、見つかりません！
直せるよ！という方、もしくはいい電気屋さん知ってるよ！という方、何か情報があれば教えてください。お願いします。

Windows98とかでしたら、他のPCから同じファイルをコピーしてしまえば大体ファイルが壊れた程度だったら機動しますけど、XPは試した事ないですねぇ。NTFSだったら98とかのブートディスクも使用不可ですし。
以前、NT LOADERでブートディスクを作ったのですが、忘れてしまいました。時間があったら調べておきます。
あなたのPCの場合日本語XPの様ですので、英語のSystemファイルではダメかもしれないし。
因みに私も日本語XPですが、Systemファイルは3.5MBありますね。
日本から持ってくると、こちらでのサービスが受けずらいですよね。
確か、WLAに一件あったと思います。
行った事はないですが、CMを見た事ありますね。

たぶん要求されているのはWindowsXPのCD-ROMだと思うのですが。。。
もし日本にあるCD-ROMがリカバリCDだった場合、復旧できない可能性もあります。身近の方にWindowsXP日本語版のCD-ROMをお持ちの方がいらっしゃいましたら、その方にお借りしてチャンレジしてみたほうがいいかもしれません。。。（あくまで私見ですが）

TOSHIBAでしたら、正規サービスディーラーでリカバリCD売ってくれるかも知れません(日本語版があるという保障はできませんが)。Beverly Blvd.とWilshire Blvd.の交わる近くに「Automagic」とゆう正規ディーラーがありますので、聞いてみてください。もっとも、日本から送ってもらったほうが安いかも知れませんが・・・。
どちらにせよ、一部リカバリになるはずなので、システムを混乱させないためにもオリジナルCDでの作業をお勧めします。
どうしても飛んでほしくないデータがあるなら、MicrosoftのWebから起動ディスクファイルをダウンロード→FDから起動→外付けHDにでもデータを退避→リカバリ作業開始、すればいいでしょう。
