Vivinavi Los Angeles旅行者が医療費を払えない場合

日本から知り合いが2週間ほど来る予定です。50代のほうは問題ないのですが、74歳の方が旅行保険が入れないもしくは高額なため保険なしで渡米予定です。
万一事故や突然倒れたりして病院での治療が必要になった場合、請求はあとから(日本の住所まで？)来ると思うのですが、支払わないということは可能でしょうか？今後入国できなくなっても問題ありません。
年金生活で貯金はないそうでこちらの医療費は払えるレベルを超えています。
こちらに住んでいれば コレクションエージェンシーにまわされて自己破産になるしかないと思いますが日本にずっと住むのであればそのまま踏み倒しも可能でしょうか

せこいさん
確実にあなたより所得税 property tax で税金貢献している自信があります。
私は踏み倒しはしたことも今度することもありません。
知人の同行予定者の状況を代わりに質問しただけです。
いくら私に経済力があるとしてもその方の高額医療費を肩代わりする間柄ではないからです。
ですので数百ドルー1000ドルくらいであれば私が払っても構わないと書いたとおりです

普通見知らぬ他人に私に経済力がある、なことは言わないと思いますが。
もし私に経済力があるならこんなところで質問せずに
どうしたら問題なく無事に旅行ができるか考えて相談に乗ってあげると思いますよ。

日本の知り合いのバランスの幅が広いですね。
こういう人と知り合いでもなんのメリットもないと思いますよ。
私の経済力なら同じような経済力の知り合いと繋がらないと。

生活保護をアメリカで受けてるのではないかと言われたので せこいさんよりは税金に貢献していると書きました
元々50代の方と知り合いで74歳のほうはその方経由ですので知り合いの知り合いという感じです。
今回50代の方が渡米するにあたり所有物件でちょうどあいているのがあるのでそちらへ滞在してもらって構わないという話で 私に会いに来るとかではありません。
もし一緒に同行するのであれば食事くらいはするかもしれませんが。

もちろん当事者であればそのような露骨な言い方はしなかったでしょうね
直接74歳のほうとは話していません。50代の知り合い経由で払えなかったらどうなるのという会話をしたので 私の解釈で踏み倒すと書きました。
他人の私からみたらそういうことだと思ったので。
それが無駄なディスカッションをうんでしまいました。申し訳ありません。
自分の親類の話であればこのような言い方や質問自体していなかったと思います

裁判所へこの日に来い、という義務の通知が来る。
日本へ逃げてもクレジットカードの踏み倒しが出来ないのと同じ。

友達の知り合いの人が以前もうアメリカに戻って来ないからといって
クレジットカードのリミットおよそ25,000ドルを払わずに日本に永久帰国しました。
しかし数ヶ月後にカード会社から請求書が届いたそうです。
病院代を払わずに逃げても追いかけてくるんじゃないでしょうか。

高齢者は時差と気候風土や食事の違いで循環器系をやられることが多いです。
最悪入院できてもICUで長期入院の場合は家族も悲惨です。
医師看護師付き添いで帰国するのに約５０００万円かかります。
アメリカでは体調管理と防犯管理が重要です。
お年を自覚されて銃社会 高額高額医療社会でお行きになさるのですから、十分心構えはおありかと存じます。

１００ドルくらいなら踏み倒しはできるだろうが、
１万ドル以上になってくると、
カンパニー側は金を払って人を雇ってでも取り返したくなる。
