鶴屋吉信の和菓子は少し高いけど有名なので喜ばれます。

修学旅行なら必ず寄るであろう【新京極】で安くて本格派の京菓子は【仙太郎新京極店】
繁華街の四条通りから新京極に入ってすぐ右の小径（花遊小路）に折れて、ちょっと行った北側にあります。
もう遅いかな？

お土産には、『そばボウロ』がお勧め☆
学生にやさしい価格と、結構年配の人にも受け入れられる味です。おかきとクッキーの間みたいなものです。京都駅のおみやげ物やさんに大概売ってます。
