ディスクをいれてもインストール画面が現れず、マイコンピューターから読み込ませようとしても見つかりませんになってしまいます。XPを使っていて書いてある通りにやってるつもりなんですがわかりません。配線はつながっています。あと考えられるのは何でしょうか？お願いします。

-モデムの電源。
-LANケーブルが刺さっているかを確認。
-XPの場合、インストールしなくてもネットワークの設定でOKなはず。
※ネットにはつなげれるようなので、ISPのHPに行って調べるか、日本のDSLのISPのHPに行ってやり方を調べる。設定部分はISP指定の数値やID・PASSで設定すればいいのでは？！

モデムの電源は問題ないと思います。
power,modem,dataとあり。パワー、モデムはランプがつくのですが、DATAのランプがつきません。USBネットワークアダプターもランプがついてないのでそこが問題なのでしょうか？

それができないんですけど…ハードディスクを入れたらインストール画面がでるはずなんですけどその画面もでてこないし、マイコンから開いてもできないんですが何が悪いんでしょうか？
これ以外のアダプターも試してみたのですがどれもうまくいきません…

状況がわからないとなんとも。
USB関連がだめということなら、まずUSBをサポートしているOSかどうか。
次にUSBがちゃんと稼動しているかどうか？
HDやモデムがUSB2.0のみということはないよね？
とにかく詳細がわからないとなんともいえないね。
