For furloughs, the Separation Option is "Temporary Layoff", not "Laid off Lack of Work". The "Laid off Lack of Work" option is for a complete layoff. If you have already submitted an Initial Application, please contact the UI office to have it corrected. Please see this link in Q&A of the UI system for your reference.

Let me ask another question to the answer you gave.

There was no Temporary Layoff option.

・ Suspended
・ Quit
・ Honoring Picket Line
・ Directly involved Strike/Lockout
・ Work not Available due to Strike

I checked with my husband and he said Laid off~ not ？. … I'm really grateful to Sunset because my husband is unreliable.

When I first applied to UI, I set the Last day worked as 3/19, but is it OK to set it as 4/30 in this application ？
There is a 1 month gap between the last day worked and the last day of work at home. The notice sent to me reminded me to work from home.

If it is Weekly instead of Bi-weekly, the filing deadline of January 9 has passed, so Reactivate a Claim You must apply for a Reactivate a Claim. Please read #664 and #732 in the "PEUC Unemployment Insurance 13-Week Extension Program" Topic. if it is due January 16, the filing period is from January 17 （ Sunday ） through January 23 （ Saturday ）.

I recall that the UI office renewed the option in the middle of the day. Temporary Layoff only applies to "Laid off Lack of Work", so that's fine. If in your weekly filing you see "Were you still employed by the ● company as of ●/●/2021?" then temporary layoff is a YES answer.

The UI office basically requires up to date information. I think 4/30 is fine since the UI office basically requires up-to-date information, but please inquire just to be sure.

Dear Sunset,

HR's outsourcing partner has changed since 1/1/2021, minijumbo.
A few concerns have come up.
Sorry, please let me know again.

I completed my Reactivate a claim application to leave Company A on 1/12/2021, and
I successfully completed my Reactivate a Claim application to add Company B on 1/19/2021.
So, I think I am going to File a Claim Certification now,
Company A will be changed to Company B as shown below, right?

EMPLOYED-Company B (Was:Company A)
Did you refuse any from Company B ？
Were you still employed by Company B as of

As of today (1/20/2021), you are still employed by Company A, but if it is changed,
you will file a Claim Certification after the change is made, is that correct? If it will be changed, I will file a Claim Certification after the change, right?

you are right, just before you click SUBMIT on File a Claim Certification or Reactivate a Claim application, open it and if Company A disappears and Company B is added, everything is done. （ Be careful not to click SUBMIT by accident ）.

It takes a few days for the UI office to update employer changes, not more than a week.

I should have originally completed the Reactivate a Claim application changing two employer information at once on the same day. Just to be safe, I sent an email to the email address for Language, "I finished the process of adding the Reactivate a Claim application on January 19, so please update it to add Company B by the morning of this Saturday （ ） the 23rd of this week. Otherwise, we will not be able to submit the File a Claim Certification application for the 23rd deadline. Please include your name, the last four digits of your social security number, the address where you registered your account, your telephone number, and your e-mail address. Please also include "Language: Japanese".
