Los Angeles ・ Northeast of downtown is Echo Park.
There is an Echo Park Apartment on Laguna Ave in the Echo Park area,
where Jackson ・ Brown of Doctor My Eyes and Running on Empty hit songs lived.
Glenn ・ Frye moved here after being approached by Jackson ・ Brown.
His roommate was J.D. Souther, who had a big hit with You're Only Lonely.

Jackson ・ Brown was working on a song for Take ・ It ・ Easy, but was having trouble finishing it
and Glenn Frye helped him with the song
before the Eagles' debut. ・ Frye was the one who helped me write the song.

Glenn liked the song so much that he included "Take ・ It ・ Easy" as the
opening ・ number on the Eagles' debut ・album, and the
single ・ "Take It Easy" charted at #12 in the US. It charted at #12 in the U.S., and he was credited as a co-writer
and received a large sum of money in royalties from the song to pay off his accumulated debts.
