ホームページを作成したいと思っています。
日本のホームページビルダーソフトを、アメリカのPCにインストールできるのでしょうか？
DVDプレーヤーのように、リージョンコードのようなものがあるのでしょうか？
（各国専用の製品でないと、読み込みができないなど･･･）

通常は地域オプションでは変更しない
通貨単位、時間,etcn等の
＞、[地域とオプション] タブで [日本語] が選択されているか確認してください。
を変更すると文字化けが解消しました
ここをＵＳＡに戻すと文字化けします
従って きちんとここも変更すれば
ホームページビルダーも使えるようになりますね

全然無関係なフリーソフトですが、

は肝心な起動ボタン（だと思う）が Windows XP Home Eng. (日本語化)で文字化けしています。

私が言いたかったのは、確かにそのソフトはインストールしたことはありませんが、各種日本語ソフトを英語版XPにインストールした経験からアドバイスをと思って書きこんだ次第です。以前、窓の手とIrvineを入れたときに、インストール画面から完全に文字化けしたため、いろいろ調べてみたところ、OSのマルチリンガル化が不完全だったということを発見しました。その対処方法は#8に書いたHPのとおりです。メニューやインストール画面の文字化けはほぼ100%この方法で対応可能である、というのが私の意見です。

でもこれを発見できたのは大きな前進です
