今英語版のWindows XPを使ってるんですが漢字を調べる（パッドを動かして漢字を書いていくとなんていう漢字かわかるやつ）Windows IME？というのをダウンロードしたいのですがやり方教えてください。右下に出てくる「あ」「Ａ」ってやつなんですが。

あ般ってやつが出てきました。みなさんありがとうございました。
でもパッドを使って漢字を調べるのができませんがエドッコ３さんが言うように専用のソフトが必要なんですかね？
前の日本語版のＰＣには初めから付いていたのですが・・・

さっきと同じようにやってみましたが今度は出てきません。

私の XP には ATOK14 が入っているので、同じかどうか分かりませんが、右下に四角の青バックの白文字で JP と言うのがありせんか？　これをクリックすると Show the language bar と言うのが出てきます。

もしこれが出ないような設定になっているのでしたら、 Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Languages Tab - Details - Settings Tab - Language bar settings - Show the language bar on the desktop をオンにします。

パッドで漢字を手書き入力し漢字変換ができるのは専用ソフトが必要だと思います。PC にメーカーがバンドル・ソフトとして入れていたのではないでしょうか。

右下にJPというのはありません。
Control Panelからの設定もしてるのですが出てきません・・・
しかもShow the language bar on the desktopはいつもＯＮのままになってます。

どうしてでしょう？
