Vivinavi Los Angelestutionについて。

私の婚約者は子供の頃にアメリカに移ってきて、現在はアメリカで永住権保持者として働
いています。
私はF1ビザでこちらに留学中に彼との付き合いを始めたのですが、卒業と同時に結婚、そ
の後は私の親の自営をつぐために日本で暮らすことを話し合っていました。
ですが、最近もう少しこちらで勉強したいな、という思いが出てきて、
卒業を延ばそうか、と思ってるのですが、彼がそれならば、卒業前に結婚すれば、私の授
業料がレジジデント料金になるのでは?と言ってきました。
これはカレッジや大学によって変わるのかもしれませんが、GCホルダーの配偶者でもレジ
デント料金が適応されるのでしょうか?(ちなみに私のアメリカ滞在暦は2年です。)
詳しい方いましたら、教えてください。

ＧＣ保持者の配偶者もレジデント価格にはなりますけど、おそらく１年半かそこらタックスを払っている証明が要ったような気がします。結婚してＧＣ申請してすぐにはレジデント価格には多分なりません。でも、聞くのはただだから行きたい学校にＧＣ申請中なの、いくら？といろいろ自分から言わず問い合わせればいいですよ。

私もメイさんが言うように、行きたい学校に問い合わせてみればいいと思います。その辺の規定は、結構学校によって違うと思いますよ。

どうなんでしょうね？ＧＣ保持者との結婚によるＧＣ取得はすごく時間がかかり（平均で５年前後）、その間アメリカに滞在したければ何らかのビザ（ＦやＨ）を保持していなければならないという事が判断すると、学生として滞在するにはＦ−１が必要。つまりレジデンス扱いにはならないと言う事ですよね。
それと、もしレジデンス扱いしてもらえる方法があったとしても、結婚してから１年待たないとレジデンスになれないのでその１年間（授業料のために１年分の生活費が無駄になる）をどのように有益に使うかがポイントではないでしょうか。
