保険はHMOです。少し前、ERを利用しました。（プライマリーフィジシャンのいる病院ではなくて、別の病院で。その際、自分の指定病院に電話して他の病院のERにいくことの許可をもらいました）
こないだBillがきて、それはホスピタルフィーだったようですが、その分は保険で全部カバーされ、私は１００ドルのCo-payだけでした。
今回新たにPhysician's feeというのが来ました。４２１ドルと高額な上に裏にはyou alone, not your insurance company, are responsible for payment of your accountとあります。何故？！
とりあえず月曜に保険会社に電話してみるつもりですが、今さっきかけたらもうオフィスが閉まっていたので、じっとしてられなくてここにきました。
同じような経験者いませんか？

Physicianに払うやつは保険で指定されてないところに行くとカバーされないこともあると思います。うちの旦那さんの保険はPPOなのでHMOについてはよくわかりませんが、なるべくなら指定された（FamilyDoctorって意味じゃなくてネットワークにいるDoctor)に行くのが一番ですけどERとなるとチョイスも限られてたのかな？ちょっと遅かったかもだけど電話して解決したことを願います。

ER後になってすごい請求が来たことがある。受付で、請求されるか聞いたら、保険で大丈夫っていってたのにぃ。 詐欺かよってって感じ。

ＥＲの場合なら大抵のＨＭＯで殆どカバーするはずです。ＨＭＯに直接聞いた方がいいでしょう。もう片付いていると思いますが。
