Vivinavi Los Angeles携帯電話について教えて下さい！

来年からＬＡに留学するのですが、そちらで携帯電話を持つ場合は、通話料は月にどれくらいですか？ホームステイしたときにホスト家族がみんな携帯を持っていたのですが、日本のより大きかったように思うのですが、Ｅ−メール機能などはついていますか？留学生でも携帯を持てるのかな・・・。

携帯は 会社によります。ほとんどの携帯会社にE-Mail機能は付いてますが、全て 英語です。SprintPCSに関しては 日本語表示に改造できますが、詳しくは良くわかりません。改造してくれる店がTorranceにあるみたいです。
アメリカの携帯、だいぶ、小型化されてきましたがでも、日本よりまだまだ大きいですね。
最後に、留学生にも携帯は持つ方法があります。プリペイド方式の携帯を購入すれば使えます。

SSNがないとスプリント以外デポジットをとられるけど、誰でも携帯購入はできるよ!!!
Eメールもついてるけど全然使われてないと思う･･･パケットじゃなくて接続時間だから、電話しちゃった方が早いってのもあるだろうけど。
今時のアメリカの携帯は日本のよりずっとちっちゃいよ！ でもかなり高くつくからちょっと古くて安めなのを買おうとすると、みためも微妙な大きめのやつになっちゃうけど。。
１年未満に解約すると契約破棄とかでお金とる会社もあるけど、１年以上アメリカにいる予定ならプリペイドとかより普通に買った方がいいなんじゃないかな〜
