I took the bus from Del Amo Walmart to the Observatory and it took 2 hours and 18 minutes
As for security, I'd be more worried about waiting at the bus stop than on the bus, but I don't hear much crime, so if it's light I wouldn't worry.

You could try Uber or Lyft
around Del Amo to Los Angeles ・ downtown and

take the nearby Metro Station to Santa Monica, which would take you near the Natural History Museum.

If you don't know where you are leaving from around Del Amo, home or boarding house is a possibility.
Even though home could be Japan. Why does Japan come up?

I'm afraid I've gone far beyond your comprehension. If you are a tourist, you don't have a home in the US. Your home is Japan.

No one asked you how to get to Del Amo from home. It clearly states that you don't depart from home, but from around Del Amo.

Yet you tell me to take an Uber or Lyft from my home to Del Amo.
