恒例のノーベル賞の受賞のニュースの時期です。またも自然科学系から日本人研究者が二氏。おめでたいことです。
ノーベル賞はその価値が明らかになってから授与されるため、2~30年前の業績に対して与えられることが多いです。日本の国力が陰りをみせているので、いつかはノーベル賞も出なくなるだろうとささやかれていますね。ただ、ノーベル賞に値する人々がたくさんいて順番待ち状態なので、まだまだ日本人の受賞は続くかもしれないです。今回の梶田さんの研究は1998年に発表されているとのことで、さてその後は……。
また、ついに中国本土からの自然科学分野での受賞です。文革の破壊にめげずによく研究を続けられたことと感心します。これから徐々にその数も増えて来るでしょうね。

ノーベル賞をとれる人の頭脳は凡人とは違うのでしょう。
アメリカのテレビニュースはノーベル賞一色です。
日本人の優秀さがこうして世界中に広まっていることに
真摯に拍手を送ります。

言いきれるのがすごい……。
少子化は? また「純粋」な日本人の若者たちは高度成長期やバブルのころのような生活はすでにできなくなっています。圧倒的多数の老人たちの経済を背負うために生まれ育つのが彼らです。
科研費の削減は?
国立大学のAO入試の拡大は（笑）?
数十年後にはどうなっているかですよねえ。

隣のスイス系アメリカ人の夫婦が、若い頃に読んだという茶黄色に変色して
しまった野口英世の伝記を持ってきて日本人の全世界に貢献する姿に感嘆していました。
今だ癌の特効薬もなくキモセラピーを続けながら余命を待つ人を救えるのは
優秀な頭脳を持っている日本人がその治療薬を発見してくれる、と確信を持って
言っていました。
そうなる日が近い、とこちらも思っています。
