Vivinavi Los Angeles日本での免許書き換え

こんにちは。質問ですが日本では車を運転したことがなくこちらで免許を取得しましたが、今回日本に一時帰国したときに日本で車を運転したいと思っています。書き換えでテストをうけたりしないといけないのは知っていますが、その後アメリカに帰ってきて一度書き換えた免許をこちらでつかえるのでしょうか？ご存知の方教えてください。

日本で外免切替してもこっちの免許は取られないので、日米両国で運転できますよ。知っているとは思いますが、外免切替をするにはこっちの免許（テンポラリ不可）が必要、免許取得から3ヶ月以上現地滞在の証明（パスポートでOK）等が要ります（期間等は都道府県によって違うのかな？？）。詳しくは自分の都道府県の警察ウェブサイトを見るといいですよ。条件が整わない場合は、AAAで国際免許を発行してもらえば1年間は日本で運転できます（テンポラリでも発行可）。
