こんにちは
駐在員の方にお聞きしたいです。
最近コロナの影響で、駐在員を日本へ返せば
年収15万ドルは削減できるのに、何故、年収4万ドルの安い現地社員をレイオフするのか分かりません。
友人からも聞きますが、何をやってるか分からない人も多いとか？
上司が言ってましたが、駐在員は日本のポジションが決まるまで帰れないというのは本当でしょうか？
駐在員1人が帰国すれば、何人もの現地社員が救われます。

「駐在だから仕事できる」はない。出来ない人多い。選ばれてきたと思ってるけど実際使えない人もいる。
それは現地採用も同じと言ってはいけない。「選ばれている」のであれば仕事はできないと本当無駄な人件費とその家族への補填だし。
気づかないんですよ、できると思い込んでるから。実際何しにきたかわからない人多いし。
たださすがだなと思える人がいるのも事実。会社によるだろうけど現地の人でこんな働き方できる人少ないなって思えた人もいました。少ないけど。

給与に関しては、絶対値で見るのではなく、物価、家賃の相対値で見て下さい。

この人自営でかなり稼いでいると言っているくせに、四六時中ここに張り付いて悪態ついていますね。自営もピンからキリですから、稼げなくて鬱憤が溜まっているのでしょう 笑笑
