Vivinavi Los Angelesコロナ帰国による家賃返金

現在留学中で、カリフォルニアのシェアハウスに住んでいるのですが、コロナの影響で帰国することにしました。
その旨を大家さんに伝え、数日前に払った家賃の返金を求めたところ、断られてしまい、このような異常事態であるにもかかわらず、5月までの契約なのでその分の家賃は払えと言われてしまいました。
どうしたら返金してもらえるのでしょうか。

Nativeが絶対に使わない表現、コテコテの日本人が間違う間違いをしてるので明白です。
とにかく見栄はって間違った英語は辞めましょう と言ってるだけでムキになるのは
日本人だと自分で言ってる事もわからないですよね 笑

＃５４さんに同意。ここで聞くよりもアメリカの法律相談できるサイトで質問した方がよいよ。そうすれば「リースに書いてることがすべて」の一言で終了する。それぐらい簡単な話。すでに他の人も言ってるがリース引き継ぐ人みつけるか、リースが終了するまでの家賃を払うかしかない。大家さんとこれまで良い関係を作り上げていれば多少の融通は利かせてくれるかもしれないがあまり期待できそうにない。
＃５７さん 法律相談サイトでも登場するのがやたらとConstitutional right持ち出す人で痛い人扱いだと言っとく。

私は賃貸ユニットを持っていて貸すときには契約を交わします。
契約書は絶対です。
でも、弁護士などに相談すればその契約書の書き方の中でも何か抜け道みたいなものを見つけることができるかもしれませんよ。
もし英語に問題がないようだったら月極のリーガルサービスをお勧めします。(LegalShieldやLegalZoomなど)
ちゃんとした弁護士事務所の弁護士と話すことができ、電話で相談するだけなら毎月の費用以上にかかりません。

このまま自粛が数ヶ月も続いてしまったら家は住んでるからまだしも、ビジネスのテナントの支払いはどうなるんだろう。国の緊急時で強制営業停止されても支払う義務はやはりあるのでしょうか？
