To Correct My English Accent?

Hello,

I am sorry in English. But, does anyone know how to correct my English accent? I am getting old, and it seems like getting worse day by day. Not to mention " R " and " L," I have problems pronouncing like "V " and " B. " It looks really bad when I have heavy accent in front of my boss, and can't communicate very well.

I have tried books and bought video showing the use of mouth. But, none of them worked good. Does anyone know speech therapist or something to correct accent? Thank you very much.

Do you mean that you want to correct your Japanese accent in English?

what the hell yo talkin abou me--n.it doesnt any make sense ,doesn' it.taht s fuckin complicated buddy! what a yo supposed t say #2 ?? you mean what ? n what is yr advice to 1 ??......never mind .. #1 said just like that v and b #1 can t pronounce me--n.and lookin for speech therapist ?? anyway yes of course it s difficult to pro me--n it is me-n.however you dont need to pro like american me--n you are japanese ,right right right ? so you better get japanese-american pronunciation . how lon have y been learning eng me--n .you just go home n read some books with some noise me--n or let see how abou ta . goin to actor s school!!that ll be good for you menn.. ok all right i wish you luck meen see ya....

And for DREAMER . . . dude or dudet . . . what? (same question as HOLA) . . . cause your saying you want to correct "your english accent" to what accent? Japanese? Korean? French? . . . Be more . . . ummm how about this, can you try to make sense . . . then probably people can help you . . .with your . . .ummm . . . problems . . .

I understand what you're saying. It's tough to acquire good pronunciation when you get old.

I am not sure what kind of problem you have exactly. Are you having a problem with L or R when they appear in a sentence? Do you even have a problem with pronouncing L or R alone?

From my experience, many non-native speakers who have difficulty in commnunicating with native speakers of English do not have English-like "intonation".

I am not sure how much I can help but I know the basics of phonetics. Can you describe the detail of your problem?
