Together with the Yamagata Shinkansen ・ Tsubasa, the Akita Shinkansen ・ Komachi is called a "mini Shinkansen" and can reach a maximum speed of 350 km/h. However, it is smaller than the full standard Tokaido Shinkansen, etc., because it runs on a conventional rail line that has replaced the ・ narrow gauge （ 1,067 mm ） rail width of conventional lines with a standard gauge （ 1,435 mm ）. The Akita Shinkansen is smaller than the full-standard Tokaido Shinkansen and other trains that run on conventional lines. This Akita Shinkansen went from Morioka Station to Tazawako Station.

Lake Tazawa is the deepest lake in Japan, but of course you can't tell that from standing by the lake, it's just big and not surrounded by high mountains like Lake Towada. After all, it was lunchtime, so we went to a restaurant by the lake. I had seen this restaurant in Goryokaku in Hakodate, but here, too, a group of Chinese tourists came in. So "inbound" had already started at that time. Not realizing this, I wondered why a Chinese group of only women was hanging around in such a remote area, and the atmosphere was bizarre.

Therefore, I decided to moderate my stroll in Lake Tazawa and became one of the passengers as I took a local bus from the lake town to Nyuto Onsen-kyo.

The next day after enjoying the hot spring in Nyuto Onsen, I took a bus to Tazawako station to go back to Tokyo, but I still remember that it took more than an hour. Tazawako Station has the same appearance as in the past except for the standard gauge rails, so when a Shinkansen train approached the platform, I felt something strange. The tracks in front of and behind the station are very squishy, and the shiny bullet train was approaching slowly like a caterpillar or a snake. During this trip, we changed trains several times at major stations in Tohoku, and there was a life-size statue of Ai Higa, the main character of the morning drama "Dondohare" at the station, and when I visited Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, where "Chiritotekin" was set some time ago, there were big pictures of Shihori Kanjiya everywhere. When we visited Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, where "Chirito-Techin" was set, we saw large photos of Shihori Kanjiya everywhere, and at the port of Obama, there was an exhibition and sale of chopsticks, probably in an attempt to make some money from the popularity of the morning drama.

As I have mentioned before, I intend to use my one-week "Rail Road Pass" while my body is still able to travel as far as JR rails will take me, from Wakkanai Station at the northernmost point of the Hokkaido Soya Main Line, to East Nemuro Station on the easternmost Nemuro Main Line, back to Sasebo Station on the westernmost Sasebo Line ・, and Nishioiyama Station on the southernmost Sukumo Makurazaki Line. I intend to run all the way to Nishi-Oyama Station on the Sukumo Makurazaki Line.

However, it takes a long time to get to Kyushu because the fastest Shinkansen "Nozomi" is not available, but the "Nozomi" below it, and there are few limited expresses to the east end of Hokkaido, or rather, only 2 or 3 limited expresses a day on the Nemuro Main Line, and there are no limited expresses between Nemuro ・ Wakkanai and Abashiri Station. It would take 3 or 4 days just to travel within Hokkaido. If this happens, the westernmost station, Sasebo Station, may be given up and Makurazaki Station may be used for both the south and west sides of the island. In any case, we can no longer say that we will run the "Gono Line" between Akita and Aomori.
