Social Security Disability Benefitについて（社会保証障害について）

只今、私は失業保険を貰っております。今回病気になり手術と治療をする事になりました。
治療や手術が日本で行いますが、Social Security Disability を申請する事ができるでしょうか？
ご存知の方がおられましたら、教えてください。
宜しくお願い致します。

Social Security officeで聞かれることをお勧めします。

officeで聞くのが一番ですが、失業保険をもらいながら日本滞在違法なはずだったと思います。失業保険は「職を失ったけど次の仕事を探している」状況の人に一定期間与えられるとかだと思います。Disabilityの情報はないですが、失業保険の方は状況によっては詐欺扱いになると知って日本で出産しようとしていたひとがすごい調べまくっていた時に話を聞いたことがあります。Lay offになった時すでに妊娠中で、ちょうどよく日本に帰りたいと言っていましたが結果その人は失業保険をもらいながらアメリカで妊婦生活と出産を終えて失業保険が切れた生後3ヶ月未満の時に日本に6ヶ月里帰りしていました。

Supplemental Security Income (SSI)の事でではないですか？
Social Security disablility benefitはDisabilityになってから6ヶ月経たないと駄目だと書かれています。

SSIを貰ってる人がアメリカ国内にいないとだめと言ってたので、駄目だと思いますよ。


Social Security, disability benefits will not begin until the sixth full month of disability.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI), we pay SSI disability benefits for the first full month after the date you filed your claim, or, if later, the date you become eligible for SSI.

SSIのことではないですか？
Social Security, disability benefitsは6ヶ月経たないと貰えないと書かれています。

SSIを貰っている人が、アメリカ国外だとSSIは貰えなくなると言っていたので、駄目だと思います。
