先日モールで「死ね！」と耳を疑う発言をしている日本人のお母さんを見かけました。怒鳴り声を聞いて思わず振り返ってしまいました。聞いていてこちらが悲しくなりました。子供の洋服を引っ張ったりもしていたので、普段からああいう子育てなんだと思います。これは虐待には当たらないのでしょうか?家ではもっとひどいのではないかと心配しています。

実は私も偶然近くにいました。 子供は、意外と強いんだなーって思いましたよ。 お母さんが子供に怒鳴った後、お前こそ死ねよーって言っていましたから。

#2さん。 そういう問題じゃないでしょ。。。
言葉の虐待だよそれ。 こっちに来てる日本人って駐在さんが多いからある程度学歴や教養あるお母さんが多いと思うけど、日本に帰ったら、結構いるんだよね。
子供は自分の鏡だから、巡りめぐって子供が大きくなってから自分に返ってくるんじゃないかな。

誰か警察に電話しなかったのでしょうか?
目撃者いっぱいでDVで逮捕されませんかね?

この『死ね』と言っているお母さん、アメリカの土地で育児ストレス溜まっているのでしょうか?この掲示板を見ているのであればどうか日系ヘルプラインなどに連絡してみてください。
日本でもお母さんの虐待とか育児放棄で死んでいる子供が沢山いますよね、その家庭の事情や教育方針があるので、他人が通報して家庭崩壊するのもいいのか私は分からないですが、近所でこのような虐待を目撃したら、気にかけてあげて、ひどい場合は最寄りの機関に相談するべきだと思います。
