最近引っ越して一部屋増えたら、電気代が大分高くなってしまったのでがんばって節電しようと思います。
電気代をセーブする良い方法を知っている方がいたら是非教えてください。

まぁ、ありきたりに使わない電気製品は頻繁に切るようにとしか言えません。最近のテレビやコンピュータはかなり節電式になっていますが、熱を放出する電気製品はどうしても電力を食います。ヘアドライヤーなどはかなり食いますが使用する時間が限られているのでそれほど電気代には影響ありません。しかし電気ヒーターなど夜中つけているとなると大変なことになります。
私が始めて LA に来たときアパートに入りましたが、そこのアパートはガスを一切使わず、キッチンのコンロから何から全部電気式でした。最たるものは暖房用ヒーター。天井に埋め込まれているタイプで、下の１階は吹きっさらしの駐車場、ヒーターをつけても３階の部屋を温めているようなもんで、メチャ電気を食いました。
白熱球を蛍光灯式のバルブにすると結構節電になります。６０Ｗの明るさで１５Ｗほどですからね。価格は３倍以上しますけど、持続性も白熱球よりずっと長いです。

オフィスでエドッコさんが話しているような、「電球を蛍光灯式のバルブに変える」をやりました。
たしかにそれ自体は高かったけど、最後に変えたのがいつか思い出せないくらい長持ちしていますよ。
電気代も「わあ、びっくり」と言うほどの違いはないような気がしますが、節約にはなってます。
