Vivinavi Hawaii住宅ローン返済と生命保険について教えてください

ハワイで初めて不動産を購入しました。ローンを組むときに、日本でいうところの団体信用生命保険でしょうか？mortgage protectionに入れ、としつこく案内がきて、色々記入して送りました。
その後、差出人の名前が封筒に記載されてない、宛名が手書きの手紙がきて、mortgage protection 関連の者だが、この期間ハワイにいるので、会うスケジュールをたてましょう、ということが書いてありました。
みなさんに伺いたいのですが、mortgage protection に入る前にはこうやって担当の方と会うものなのでしょうか？そもそも、みなさんは住宅ローンとともに、このmortgage protectionに入っているのでしょうか？
以前、詐欺にあったので、また詐欺なのでは？と警戒しています。みなさんにアドバイスをいただきたいです、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

ハワイの不動産エージェントをしているものです。Mortgage ProtectionはMortgage Insuranceのことでしょうか？モルゲージインすランスは通常ダウンペイメントを20％以下で物件購入をした場合にローンに組み込まれるものですので、すでに物件を購入した後であるなら後つけということはないはずです。ご購入された際の不動産エージェントに問い合わせてみてはいかがでしょうか？または、私でよろしければ添付で手紙をお送りいただければ手紙が何なのか確認することはできますが、、、。

書き込みありがとうございます。20%は支払いましたが、ローン会社から個人情報がいって、こういう案内がきたみたいです。
購入した際の不動産エージェントの方には、契約書をみないとわからないと言われました。。。
