はじめまして。
日本に FAXを送りたいのですが 国際電話と方法が違うのでしょうか？ 今日 Kinko'sに行ってFAX送信しようとしたのですが 001-81-始めの0を取った番号で送信したのですが うまくいきませんでした。 ご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら 教えていただけないでしょうか。 よろしくお願いいたします。

アメリカから日本へ電話・FAXの場合は＜０１１−８１＞ですよ。

トピ主さん、失礼しました。確かにどこの店員も自分のプロとしての意識がナシ過ぎですよね。
011-81 でだめなら何かそこ独特の設定があるのではないでしょうか。始めに 9 を押して外線に繋げるとか。ファックス器が料金の関係上入れた番号を睨んでいる設定になっていれば、絶対に何か特殊な番号を先に入れなければならないはずです。
それ以前に、そのお店の電話設定がどこか狂っているとすれば、どうしようもないですよね。さらにそれを知らないバカ店員では話になりません。
今は中古の熱転写式ファックスなんか、二束三文で売られているはずです。そんなのを買うのも手です。私のところにも完動品が埃をかぶって寝ていますが、よかったらさしあげますけど。

みなさん どうも ご親切にありがとうございました。別のFAX番号を使ったら うまく送信できました。011-81-0を取った番号で。お騒がせしました。。

私も日本にFAXしたかった時、Kinkoに行って値段の高さにびっくりしました。
帰ってすぐ びびなびでFaxを２０ドルで購入しましたよ。
何枚か送る料金でファックス自体買えちゃうから。
家に持っておけば 毎回数十ｾﾝﾄで送れるわけですから。１０１０３４５とかで。
それかお友達でファックス持ってる方いないのですか？
