LAの日本人留学生を対象にした日本企業の就職説明会を探してるんですが、LA近郊で何かあるんですか？
友達はボストンまで行けば、毎年大きいのがあるよって言ってたんですけど・・・ボストン・・・ちょっと遠いです。
有名企業が一堂に集まるような大きいものでなくてもいいので、教えてください！！

わしの時代は飛行機代もらってたりしたんだけど、今でもそうなのかな？（今考えると信じられない話だね）

LAの日本企業説明は、、聞かないねぇ。リクルートがやっている就職相談とかのイベントはあるけどね。
前にリクルートの担当に方に聞いたけど、LAは交通の便が悪いのでああいう大型キャリアフェアってやりにくいらしい。
LA近辺に住んでいる人なら自分の車で通えるけど、他所から来る人はホテルから会場に行くのも一苦労じゃない？バスがあるかもわかんないし。
その点サンフランシスコやボストンはバスや電車などの車以外の交通網がしっかりしているから、短期で訪れる人でも移動しやすい。ってのが理由らしいです。
まぁちと遠いけど、ボストンやサンフランシスコのやつは行ってみる価値あると思いますよ。

日本企業の日本人留学生を対象にした説明会は、ＳＦとボストンのだけだと思いますよ。
ＳＦのはどっちかっていうと、ＩＴ系の生徒をターゲットにしてるようですし、規模もボストンのに比べると全然小さいですよ。
日本で就職したいなら、ボストン行くべきでしょね。飛行機代は抽選で何名かには100ドルとかそんなくらい出てましたよ、あれは何年前だ？2年前の話ですけどね。

ところで、ＳＦにしてもボストンのにしても、就職説明会というか、もう面接ですよ。予約を事前にとっておいて（人気の会社は予約ないと無理）面接。当日説明会を聞いてから面接できる会社もたくさんありますけどね。
このイベントで内定が出る生徒も、もちろん一杯いますよ。
