Ｈｕｎｔｉｎｇｔｏｎ Ｂｅａｃｈに引っ越そうと思いますが、治安や気をつけたほうがいいなどなんでも情報をお願いします。Ｈｕｎｔｉｎｇｔｏｎ Ｂｅａｃｈの西や東では治安やレントなどに違いが若干あるのでしょうか。
Ｈｕｎｔｉｎｇｔｏｎ Ｂｅａｃｈに住んでいなくても、近隣に住んで知っているとか人から聞いた情報でもいいです。

ＨＢは昔（今も？）ＫＫＫのヘッドオフィスがあり、人種差別が強い街です。ブラックはもちろんのこと、アジア人もあまり住んでいません。友人がアパートのパーキングスペースを1台しかもらえず（2ベッドで）、残りの一台分はアパートのゲスト専用にされてしまったと言っていました。他の住民に聞くと皆2台分もらっているらしく、差別だと怒っていました。
その近辺では、日本人はコスタメサ、アーバイン、中国人はアーバイン、ベトナム人はウエストミンスター、ブラックはロングビーチと、ハンティントンを避けるかのようにコミュニティが出来ています。
人種差別に関して鈍感なら、住むのにいい街ですよ。

私はハンティントンビーチに住んでいます。
普通に生活する分には、人種なんて関係ないですよ！
アパートのパーキングも2台分ほしいっていえばいいんじゃないですか？

いつだか新聞でみたけど、ＨＢ（もしかしたらニューポートだったか？）で黒人の車にペンキでらくがき書かれたけど、それを知った住民が”ＨＢは人種差別者の町じゃない”みたいに奮起してその人の車の修理費を皆で出し合ったとかあったね。
まあ独身で住むには少々の差別は気にならないかもしれないけど、子供がいたりしたらちょっと考えるね。。学校の先生に差別されて成績下がったり、進路に影響したりなんてあったらシャレにならんから。。
