サウスベイエリアのジム

サウスベイエリアでジムに入会しようと思っています。
できるだけお手頃なジムを探しています。

Planet Fitness, LA Fitness, 24 hour Fitnessなどと色々ありますが、Yelpなどでレビューを見る限り酷いです。
やはりお手頃なところだから酷いのでしょうか？
従業員の態度が悪いのはしょうがないとして、マシンが壊れている、トイレやロッカールームが汚い（ホームレスの方が使ってて汚い）、通っている会員がガラの悪い人が多い、などたくさんのネガティブなレビューがありました。。。

低いレビューと高いものとの差がすごいですし、実際に本当なのか気になります。
行ったことある方、現在会員の方などのご意見をお聞かせください。

おすすめのジムなどがあったらそれも教えていただきたいです。

Yelpとかって、一般的に見ると怖くなるけど、実際はそんなに悪くないもんですよ。
サウスベイの２４Hrは昔行きました。別に悪くなかったですよ。
最近はGold'sに1年行って、その後２４Hrに替えましたが、どっちも満足してます。
Yelpをうのみにしてたら怖くてどこも行けなかったですよ。
