トーランス市で一軒家に住むものですが、近所の方によると、トーランス市では街路樹とその歩道のメンテナンスは、その家に住む人の責任のもとで行なうということらしいのですが、トーランス市のWebサイトにはそのようなことが書いておらず、つまらない悩みで申し訳ありませんが、どなたかトーラン市にお住まいでご存知の方がいらっしゃったら、ぜひご教示いただけますと助かります。

街路樹とその歩道では無いけれどおとっつぁんの住んでいる環境の悪いエリアでも
壁等の落書きも市に連絡すると消しに来てくれる。

City of LA では歩道の管理は市と Home Owner との半々だそうです。
ただ芝が植わっていれば Home Owner が 100% 持ちで、水撒きも含め全てを
管理しなければなりません。ただ街路樹の根っこが浮き上がったりして、コンクリが
割れて持ち上がった場合、今までは市が治していました。ところがこれを Home
Owner に転化させようとの議案が出ましたが、皆が大反対をしてとりあえずはその
議案は通りませんでした。
うちの通りも 20m もあろう松の街路樹がありますが、強風などで家の方に倒れ
家を壊した場合、誰がどう払って処理するのか私はまだ知らないままです。

落書きを消すのは市がやってくれるんですね、、家に落書きされたら消してくれるんですかね。。

市によってルールが違うのはほんとに困りますよね。なんのための税金かわからなくなる苛立ちも覚えますが、私は早く家の前の木を取り除いて、歩道も綺麗にしたいです。。
