みなさんは何の携帯音楽プレーヤーを使っていますか?
最近Ipodの調子が悪くなり、新しい携帯音楽プレーヤーの購入を検討しています。
一番重視するのは音質です。

スポット的な意見として、iRiver と言う MP3 Player を買った時付いてきた
Sennheiser のイヤフォンの音質がメッチャよかったです。ただそのイヤフォンも
スマホの音楽プレイでは音がよくなかったので、やはり専用プレイヤー以外は論外でしょう。

日本で買ってくれば。

3が言う通り、mp3に音質を期待するのがそもそも間違いで、mp3は標準の128kbpsでは原音の1/10程度の音質で、最大320kbpsでも音質は1/3程度。
それ以上の音質を求めるならFlac以外に選択肢はない。
NW-Fは音質が良いらしいって聞いたのはFlac対応という事で音質がいいからという事。
なので選択肢はFlac対応プレイヤーを買うかiPodなどをJailbreakさせてrockboxを入れてFlac対応化させた上で良いヘッドフォンを買うなどすれば良い。

トピ主さんは携帯音楽プレーヤーの中でどの機種がいい音がするのかを聞いているのだと思います。
Flac だの Jailbreak だの言われても、トピ主さんもそうだと思いますが、私にはチンプンカンプンです。
しかし、出来合いのもので音質のいいモデルと言っても、みなさん、複数機種を買い込んで比較した
人はまれでしょうし、市場の動向から単純に再度 iPod 系を選んではいかがでしょう。
もし PC に保存している原曲が良質なら、あるいは CD から変換する時、#8 さんが言うように
圧縮率の低い、つまり kbps の数字が高い手段でプレイヤーに移せば十分いい音で聴けるでしょう。

プレーヤー本体は使い勝手を重視して
イヤホンに音質を求めるのが最適かと。
私はKlipschImage X10 を使ってますがいい音してます。
