Since I've been working remotely, I eat out less, I don't go out drinking
I don't travel as much, and I spend less on gas. My expenses have decreased dramatically, so my savings have increased.

I'm eating out and going out less, so that's a plus, but
I'm doing more online shopping at home, so that's a minus.

It has increased slightly in my case.

I have not lost my job, so I did not receive anything special, but I did receive a stimulus check.

And I spent all of that money on crypto and stock investments, so my wealth is still increasing slightly.


By the way, I can't go into details, but there is a Japanese homeless guy from Japan in Hawaii.

Those who paid their taxes properly and worked and earned properly before Corona received from the government even with the Corona disaster.

I saved at the same rate before and after Corona.

I think it's great that I stayhome and it hasn't changed.

This is probably thanks to the US President. I don't think there are many people in Japan who are grateful to the Prime Minister.

The reason why there are few Japanese homeless is because they return to Japan.

Another reason why there are few local homeless is because they are allowed to live in their parents' homes.

The number of homeless people is increasing at an alarming rate,

since hundreds of homeless people from the mainland US on one way tickets and Hawaii inmates were released because of Corona.

I hope the government will do something about this deterioration of public safety.

I don't think that's quite right. People in Kansai don't consider it a dialect. So even if the person you are talking to is not from Kansai, you would still use the Kansai dialect. And when you write a sentence, you should use standard Japanese. So there is no need to be concerned about it.

Japan is so popular that comedy shows (comedians are in their 20s-60s) are getting good ratings.

I was born and raised in Tokyo and have never actually spoken to anyone from Kansai. I only have a vague understanding of Kansai dialect. So please don't take it for granted that I can understand Kansai dialect. And I personally am not interested in comedy shows. Please don't make assumptions based on your own ideas.

I used to live in Kanto, but when I came to Hawaii, I got used to
Kansai dialect because there are many Kansai people.

Because of my work, I need to know both the U.S. and Japan now
to make money, so I take in information from Japan even though I live in Hawaii.

Why do we have to learn Kansai dialect when we are in the US? Shouldn't Kansai people learn standard Japanese? Only when it's between Kansai people.

Even a Native English Speaker can
tell the difference between Kansai dialect and standard Japanese.

I thought it would be
very embarrassing for a Japanese person from Japan today not to be able to understand Kansai-ben.

I think that Ron, the topical owner, made a funny topical comment with his flippant Kansai dialect. How much I could laugh out loud when I heard the Kansai dialect of comedy in this Corona disaster.
I'm so thankful rain arale 🤣😂.

That would be a Native English speaker who can speak Japanese quite well. I don't care about that, I'm saying that you should use standard Japanese when you say something to the public at large. That's what standard Japanese is for.

There are very few Japanese people around me, or perhaps it would be better to say
that there are none.

I know some Japanese people, but their daily life is about 90% English, except for watching Japanese TV
at home.

When I worked for a Japanese company, it was 80% English and 20% Japanese, but after the pandemic
I went back to a world where English is about 90%.

I prefer to be with the locals
and have a good time with them, rather than meeting Japanese people and having a good time with them. It's easier to have a conversation in English
than in Japanese, which I'm not very good at.
