GC保持者の公的補助受給について詳しいことをご存じの方いらっしゃいましたら情報をシェアしていただけませんか？グリーンカード保持者が公的補助を受けると次回の更新のとき問題になる、または将来市民権を申請するとき不利になる、または日本に一時帰国してアメリカに入国する際に問題になると書いてある文を読みました。これは本当ですか？公的補助とは具体的には何を指しますか？
カバードカリフォルニア、Med-CaLなどの健康保険？それとも失業保険？または生活保護費のことでしょうか？これからコロナのせいで経済的な不安を持つ方が多くなると思うので少しでもご存じの方がおられましたら情報をお願いします。

公的補助を受けた事のある人がここで経験談として書いてしまうと絡んで来る暇人が数名涌いて出るかと思います。情報掲示板に掲載された方がここで聞くより有益な情報が得られるんじゃないでしょうか。

GCの更新は関係ないとの事。
GCと各種ビザと市民権の申請の際に却下される可能性があるらしいです。

失業保険は関係無いと思う。
知合いのメキシコ人だが、お産を
無料でした件で難しいと言われたそうです。生活保護(welfare)
が、いちばん問題のようですが、
申請する時で更新はどうなんでしょうかね、弁護士に一度聞いてみたら？

GCは外国人がアメリカに合法で住めるが
あくまでも外国人だからアメリカ政府の援助を受ける場合には注意が必要。

アメリカは愛国者がいま盛り上がってるからね。
GCはいつ変えられてもおかしくない状況。
