アメリカで購入した靴（１０足ほど）を日本のお店で委託販売してもらいたいと考えています。そのお店には関税がかかるのであれば前もって支払っていないと受け取らないと言われまいました。こちらから荷物を送る際に前もって関税を支払う事ができるのでしょうか？どなたかご存知でしたら詳しく教えてください。よろしくお願いします。

日本までの配送方法によりますよ。郵便局から送る場合は関税の先払いはできません。upsやフェデックスでもできる場合とそうではない場合があります。日本通運さんやヤマトさんのような国際宅配会社の便で関税先払いを選ぶことができたと思いますが、靴は関税が高いですし、10足だと商用の税率で計算されると思いますよ。お電話をかけるなどして聞かれるといいと思います。
upsなども街中にups storeがありますので、そこで関税先払いの選択肢があるかどうかをお聞きになってみてはいかがでしょうか。

そうですね、やはりお店に行くのが一番ですね。靴は関税が高いんですね。よく知りませんでした。商用の税率っていったいどのくらいか分からなく、不安ですが頑張ってみます。ありがとうございました。

関税の税率は税関のホームページなどにもかかれていますので、そちらをご覧なるといいと思いますよ。

布製品ならば商品代金の約８％くらいです。ただこれは日本側で支払ってもらう場合で、アメリカで前もって支払う場合は約２０％は取られてしまいます。
結構割高になってしまいますよね…。
また、出荷する際に運送会社にその旨伝えれば簡単にこちらからでも支払えますよ。
