Community E-lert® is a registered trademark of the City of Medina Police Department.   This announcement is provided as a public service to residents of Medina and Hunts Point.  It is our intention to distribute these E-lerts following an occurrence or condition that may have public safety or community well-being implications.

"*Update: a section of I-405 will also be closed [ https://wsdot.wa.gov/construction-planning/search-projects/i-405renton-bellevue-widening-and-express-toll-lanes-project ] during this same timeframe, likely adding significantly to any traffic congestion in the area. Northbound I-405 will be closed in Renton from SR-167 to SR-169, as well as the on-ramp from SR-167 to northbound I-405 and the off-ramp from northbound I-405 to SR-169 (Exit 4). *"

According to WSDOT's online posting [ https://sr520construction.com/projects/sr-520-closed-in-both-directions-across-lake-washington-aug-23-26-3yeun01pms ], the SR-520 bridge will be completely closed from I-5 in Seattle to 92nd Avenue NE in Clyde Hill starting at 11pm Friday, August 23rd until 5am on Monday, August 26th. The SR-520 trail will only be closed on Saturday, August 24th from 6am until 8pm.
