Hawaii is a car-oriented society and life without a car is very inconvenient.
When I moved to Hawaii about 7 years ago, I bought a used car for the first time and immediately asked a local Nikkei car shop for maintenance. Since I could not speak English at all when I first came to Hawaii, I now regret that I asked a Japanese-speaking car shop to do the work for me. I found out later that the advantage of the store being a Japanese-speaking store was, on the contrary, that it was more expensive than a local town shop.
I have always loved motorcycles and cars, and in Japan I had experience doing my own repairs and customization as part of my hobby, so I can do some things on my own that don't require major repairs or expensive tools and equipment.
I am not for profit, as I genuinely hope that my hobby and skills can be of help to Japanese people living in Hawaii.

I am a complete volunteer, but I only ask for payment for parts if I prepare the necessary parts for replacement on my end. I will also make it clear which parts cost how much. I want to buy the best parts at the best price, so it may take some time to order the parts on the web.
