This is to inform you of the current situation confirmed by Noto Town regarding the heavy rainfall that occurred in Noto Town on September 21, 2024.
Currently, one evacuation center has been opened in Noto Town, and four people have been evacuated.
Although some areas are experiencing power outages and water outages, restoration is underway with the dispatch of water trucks by the national government and the Japan Water Works Association, as well as the dispatch of support staff to Noto Town by Shiga Prefecture.
Classes are being held as usual at public elementary and junior high schools in Noto Town.

We have confirmed with Noto Town that there are currently no requests for assistance in the form of supplies. We will continue to keep in close contact with Noto Town to gather information, while preparing to respond promptly in the event that the city needs assistance.
