本日、第２３回和泉市子ども議会を開催しました。
今回は、市内１１校の小学校から児童が参加し、お忙しい中、保護者の方々をはじめ、多くの皆様に傍聴いただきました。
子ども議員の皆さんには、市制施行１００周年となる「３２年後の和泉市のカタチを考えよう」をテーマに、「誰ひとり取り残さないやさしいまち」、そして、「いのち輝く未来のまち」にするために、自分の意見や疑問を提言としてまとめていただきました。
本当に和泉市の将来が楽しみになるような素晴らしい提言ばかりでした。
和泉市は、民間企業が発表した「住みたい街ランキング２０２４関西版」の「今後、街が発展しそう」の項目で、１位になりました。
本日参加してくれた子ども議員の皆さんが、将来、和泉市のリーダーとなって、未来の和泉市を築いていくことで、発展しそうなまちが、発展しているまちになることを、心から期待しています。
