*Lane Closure Scheduled for Pu‘u Road in K**ā**laheo Nov. 18 to Dec. 20*

KALĀHEO – The Department of Public Works and its contractor Ka‘iwa Construction announces that a portion of Pu‘u Road in Kalāheo, between Silva Tract Road and Pu‘u Kulana Place, will be closed Nov. 18 to Dec. 20, weekdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The one-lane closure is necessary to allow Ka‘iwa Construction to install a water service lateral and fire hydrant across Pu’u Road between Papalina Road and Hokua Road.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to allow additional drive time. Anyone with questions can call Ka‘iwa Construction at 808-828-1157 or Brock Tacata with Public works at 808-241-4995.
