犬山警察署管内で、高齢者方を訪問した業者が、屋根の点検を持ち掛け、その後に多額
の料金で工事契約を結ばせるトラブルが多発しています。
■対策
工事の契約は、即決するのではなく、家族などに相談してから、よく考えて契約を結ぶ
こと。
訪問販売については、契約から8日間クーリングオフができるので、契約に不審点があ
れば、クーリングオフの期間が切れる前に警察や消費生活センターに相談すること。
犬山警察署のホームページでは交通安全や犯罪防止のチラシ等が見ることが出来ます。地域で活用してください。
