昨日、和泉南ロータリークラブ様から、創立40周年記念事業として「窓口音声認識システム」をご寄贈いただけることとなり、寄贈式を開催させていただきました。
このシステムは、音声をＡＩで解析して、随時モニターへ字幕表示されるもので、市役所の窓口において、耳の聞こえにくさを感じる方とのやり取りに大変役立つものとなります。
寄贈式では、会場を窓口がある部署に移し、実際にどのようなやりとりになるのかをデモンストレーションで披露させていただきました。
コミュニケーションが取りづらいことで、手続きなどがスムーズに進まないケースもありますが、システムの導入によって正確に意思の疎通が図れるとともに、筆談等で対応するときに比べ時間が短縮されるものと期待しています。
本市の障がい福祉施策に深いご理解をいただいております、和泉南ロータリークラブ様のご厚志に心より感謝を申し上げます。
